HealthCare Access Maryland provides health care linkage and support services through a range of focused programs:
- Health Insurance for Children, Families, and Adults: HCAM provides eligibility services to enroll children and adults in public and private health insurance programs.
- Assistance to the Uninsured and Health Care System Navigation: HCAM provides assistance to the uninsured/underinsured by linking them to low cost/no cost health care resources in their community. Our advocates also provide outreach and health education to public health program enrollees connecting them with primary care doctors, specialty care, and ancillary services.
- Health Policy and Analysis: HCAM provides thoughtful and timely analysis of pending State and National health care policy and legislation that impact Baltimore City.
- Case Management – Supportive Services for Vulnerable Populations: HCAM provides outreach, health education, and case management programs across the entire lifespan, including high-risk pregnant women and their infants, children in foster care, those experiencing homelessness, new immigrants, those seeking addiction treatment, and seniors.
