HealthCare Access Maryland: Your NEW Mid-Western Region Connector

The Maryland Health Benefit Exchange has selected HealthCare Access Maryland to be the State’s Mid-Western Region Connector Entity. In this role, we help uninsured residents of Carroll County, Howard County, and Frederick County learn about, apply for, and enroll in health insurance through Maryland Health Connection, the state’s online insurance exchange.

HCAM partners with organizations throughout the region to offer enrollment opportunities at convenient locations.

HCAM and our partners employ Navigators and Assisters to help members of the public select and enroll in a health plan, assist with the application for premium tax subsidies, and facilitate eligibility determinations for the Maryland Medical Assistance Program and the Maryland Children’s Health Program.
