Medicaid Rep 1

The primary responsibilities of this position are:

  • The MR1 is primarily responsible for assisting consumers through triage and refers consumers to the Connector Team/Walk-in Center
  • Distribute and reviews customers satisfaction surveys and MHC documents to walk-in clients
  • Receives consumer verifications for outstanding issues
  • Enter triage forms into eCW or appropriate database
  • Follow up on triage forms, reports, Ctads and provides monthly desk status to Lead Administrative MR1
  • Process and distribute incoming mail, checks voice mail daily, returns calls within 24 hours
  • Performs clerical and other duties as needed

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Word processing and database experience
  • Customer service skills with the ability to deak with the public
  • Well organized team with organization skills
  • Experience with multi-lined telephone system, Zerox and scanners
  • Knowledge of Medicaid policy (MCHP, MAF, PAC, and Family Planning Health Choice, HCAM resources)Knowledgeable of ACA policy
  • Ability to work in remote locations with little supervision
  • Access to reliable transportation

 

Preferred Qualification:

 

  • Previous experience with government insurance programs
  • Previous experience with commercial insurance programs
  • Utilization of databases (Cares, MMIS,ECW)

 

Physical Requirements:

The ideal candidate must be able to:

  • Ambulate 3 blocks or more
  • Key data
  • Sit for extended periods
  • Lift at least 23-25 lbs.
