Maryland Children’s Health Program
The Maryland Children’s Health Program or MCHP and MCHP Premium provide health insurance coverage to uninsured children and youth under age 19 and pregnant women of any age who meet income requirements.
Both programs offer comprehensive health benefits for children up to age 19, and pregnant women who meet the income guidelines.
Primary Adult Care Program
The Primary Adult Care Program or PAC is a health care program for low income adults age 19 and over who have minimum income. PAC covers the cost of prescriptions, primary care, mental health care, hospital emergency room services, treatment for substance abuse, and other limited services. You do not need to have a medical condition to qualify. PAC does not cover inpatient or outpatient hospital services, specialty services, or EPSDT services.
Medical Assistance for Families
The Medical Assistance for Families Program is Maryland’s newest public health insurance program option. Medical Assistance for Families or MAF offers Maryland families earning up to $25,600 (for a family of four) full health coverage!
Baltimore Bridge Program
The Baltimore Bridge program is an affordable health insurance plan from Kaiser Permanente for low income uninsured individuals who have no access to health care coverage and are not eligible for any public or private health insurance coverage.
