In honor of National Recovery Month, we’re proud to spotlight our Recovery Care Services (RCS) team. The RCS division assists individuals as they transition to the recovery community by providing a connection to community/faith-based services and other human services organizations.
Tammie Price is a valued team member who brings over two decades of experience in behavioral health and recovery services. In just 1-2 years at HCAM, Tammie has already become a powerful force in our community. Her decision to join HCAM was driven by a passion for hands-on, community-centered work. “Actively working with those in the community that need unbiased support in regaining their independence and connecting with vital resources to improve their outlook on recovery.” This purpose continues to guide her work each day as she helps individuals take meaningful steps forward in their recovery journey.
At the core of her approach is a strong belief in the individuality of each recovery journey. “Recovery is person-centered and not linear. Each person has a unique life experience and educational status which impacts recovery differently.” This perspective allows her to offer truly personalized support rooted in empathy, understanding, and respect. Tammie describes her role as one where she “provides introspective counsel and strategies to connect with community resources in a realistic manner,” ensuring that each individual receives support that meets them where they are.
Thank you, Tammie. We are so thankful to have you at HCAM!
