HCAM’s FY 2025 Annual Report

HealthCare Access Maryland (HCAM) is delighted to share that our FY ’25 Annual Report is now available to view!

HCAM’s FY ’25 Annual Report reflects on the work we did across Maryland communities from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025. This year’s theme, “Rooted in the Community, Branching Out,” speaks to nearly three decades of staying true to our roots while growing to meet new and evolving needs across the state.

The report opens with a letter from CEO Traci Kodeck, who reflects on a milestone year for HCAM. Our team connected more than 80,039 Marylanders to coverage and care, a 20% increase over the previous year, while our enrollment teams helped deliver the largest Open Enrollment in Maryland’s history, with 247,243 residents enrolled statewide.

Inside, you’ll find an overview of HCAM’s full range of programs, from the Connector Program and Returning Citizens HealthLink to MATCH, which celebrated sixteen years supporting children in Baltimore’s foster care system. Read about our new five-year partnership with Centurion to support justice-involved Marylanders returning to their communities, the launch of Neighborhood Nursing in East Baltimore’s Johnston Square, and stories of impact from our Community Diabetes Initiative and Recovery Care Services teams. You’ll also meet Nancy Francis, this year’s Lynell Medley Leadership Award recipient, and learn about HCAM’s recognition as a leader in advancing women in the workplace from both The Daily Record and the Executive Alliance.

The report closes with a look back at our 4th annual 5K For the Health of It!, our FY ’25 financials, and the many funders, donors, and partners who make this work possible.

As always, we are grateful to our dedicated staff, Board of Directors, partners, clients, donors, and community members who continue to work alongside us to make Maryland healthier!
